March is the month of madness

Things are pretty hectic in the garden. Plants are going to seed all over, the tomatoes are coming thick and fast, white butterflies are having a field day and the weather is all over the place (I had the fire on Saturday!)

Not that I’m spending much time in the garden at the moment – the whitefly is a clear sign of that. Last weekend we had the first of our Autumn workshops with Colin. This weekend is the March edition of Seedy Sunday. The weekend after that is the Kapiti Sustainable Home and Garden show, affectionately known as the SHaG. After all of this I will be shagged.

It’s been a frantic race to pull everything together in time – websites, seeds, speakers, swaps, shows and sanity. The house is a mess with seeds on every flat surface. If you knock over a glass in here something’s likely to sprout out of the carpet.

I’m so looking forward to some quiet days at home over Easter! But in the meantime please bare with me. I’ll be blogging where I can.
